In honor of the Kinston-Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce’s 100th Anniversary, Centennial Park is being put together to commemorate individuals, families and businesses who have been instrumental in the Chamber’s success. The Chamber Centennial Corner is located at the corner of Herritage and King Streets, directly beside the Veteran’s Walk of Honor and has been dedicated to celebrating all who worked so hard to make this community great.
On this site, a 100th Anniversary time capsule dedication ceremony and celebration will be held as a part of leaving our history for future leaders. This community project includes a variety of options for participation. Engraved bricks will be sold in honor or in memory of those who gave so generously of their time to shape our community and will serve as a tribute to the men and women who worked diligently over the years to improve our city and county. Individuals, families, businesses and organizations may purchase the bricks, benches, corners and other decorative art pieces by filling out the form below. Donations will also be accepted to help finance future expansion and upkeep of the Chamber Centennial Corner.
This community project is a celebration of 100 years of commerce in our area and provides us the opportunity to express gratitude that mere words alone cannot.
