The Committee of 100 has embarked on an exciting new community involvement campaign for Lenoir County. Its theme is "Kinston...We're on the Way".

As this theme suggests, the campaign will showcase the progress in our area to the people who live and work here.

Kinston and Lenoir County is centrally located as a crossroads in Eastern North Carolina with a proud heritage.  Our small town lifestyle coupled with an active business community and strong leadership continues to make this an attractive area to live, work and play.

We’ll build on recent successes by using the energy and creativity that exists in the people who love to call Kinston and Lenoir County home.  It’s important for all of us to really know what we have and what is in progress, and to look ahead at what can be.  By being informed we will be better prepared to assist visitors and potential new residents and businesses understand why Kinston is a wonderful community.
