Young Professionals

The Young Professionals of Lenoir County is an extension of the Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce.
YPLC is for individuals between the ages of 21-39.

Vision

To be the leading organization for attracting and retaining young professionals in Lenoir County.

Mission

To connect young professionals, enrich their lives through leadership development and empower them to be leaders of tomorrow.

The Young Professionals of Lenoir County (YPLC) was created for individuals 21-39 of age to assist in growing business and community engagement.  This group provides leadership and serves as an organization that attracts young professionals to Kinston and Lenoir County and develops leaders among its ranks for our Chamber and our Community. This group provides opportunities for professional development, community outreach, social networking, mentoring, and personal growth for its members. This group strives to create a diverse group of individuals with the common purpose of improving the workplace and the community while enhancing the skills and engagement of its members.

We would like to extend an invitation to attend the Young Professionals of Lenoir County’s various activities.  You can attend a social mixer, a community outreach event, a Friday lunch, and many more activities at your leisure.

Throughout the year YPLC will post several events on our Facebook page, Young Professionals of Lenoir County, with #YPLC to offer a number of social and family activities, projects, and programs for the young adults who are living and working in the county.

Take advantage of the outstanding opportunity to build relationships with area businesses and community leaders.  For more information or to join the Young Professionals of Lenoir County, please call the Chamber at 252-527-1131.
